The Handumy J. Tahan Internship Fund

Camron-Stanford House is pleased to announce the Handumy J. Tahan Internship Fund. Thanks to a generous donation from Joy Tahan-Ruddell, the Handumy J. Tahan internship Fund will support funding for one student intern per academic term (Fall and Spring).

Funded internships help lay a path towards equity in the museum industry. We are grateful for this contribution, which allows Camron-Stanford House the ability to offer paid internships for emerging professionals in the fields of history, museum studies, and historic preservation.

The Handumy J. Tahan Internship Fund was established by the generosity of Joy Tahan Ruddell, a long-time supporter and former board member of Camron-Stanford House, committed to fostering the talents of future generations of museum professionals in the Bay Area. The Fund is named in honor of Ruddell’s mother, who wholeheartedly supported her museum career and inspired her to give back to others who equally deserve that support. Her generosity, strength, and perseverance is an inspiration to Ruddell everyday.
