Plan A Field Trip

We warmly welcome requests for field trips for all local public school classrooms in the Oakland, Berkeley, and larger East Bay region. Please get in touch with us to learn how we can help support your classroom curriculum this year with a specialized tour or hands-on educational activities that allow students to learn about local history, research skills, and more. Students and chaperones are welcome to enjoy their lunches in our Victorian garden or on our veranda.

Field trips are offered complimentary for public school students. Classrooms are carefully matched with our experienced docents based on your group’s interests and cirriculum focus. Many of our docents are retired educators and have many years of experience working with children in a variety of settings and age groups.
