Camron-Stanford House is pleased to present an inaugural artist spotlight, featuring the work of Jorge Bejarano. in Town Landmarks: Abstract Oakland by Jorge Bejarano, the artist explores some of Oakland’s most well known historic landmarks, presenting them through his own modern, vibrant lens. Artworks will be paired alongside historic images of each building to offer visitors a chance to consider both the evolution and permanence of some of The Town’s most beloved buildings.
Camron-Stanford House is currently open limited hours, Sundays from 11am-2pm. Private gallery visits and house tours may be arranged by emailing office@cshouse.org.
About the Artist
Born in Mexico city and raised in Oakland, Jorge Bejarano, also known as Abstract Oakland, has adopted the culture and vibrancy of the Bay and gives us a brilliant display of his perspective on the diversity and pulse of the city. Using a technicolor pallette that ignites a fire and excitement in his audience, he shows a distinct aesthetic in his urban style that is unmistakably mirrored to him as an artist and as a person.
How to Visit
Camron-Stanford House is currently open limited hours. We are open to the public every Sunday from 11am-2pm. Tickets may be purchased in advanced or purchased on-site. Admission includes access to current exhibit and a self-guided house tour. Learn more

Know Before You Go
Beginning February 1, 2022, all visitors 12 and older will be required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status, per an emergency ordinance established by the City of Oakland. Adults, age 18+, should be prepared to show a matching photo ID along with their vaccination record. Digital and paper vaccine records will be accepted. Unvaccinated guests must show proof of negative COVID-19 test, taken within 72 hours of time of visit. Face masks are optional for vaccinated individuals while indoors at Camron-Stanford House.
