Patanisha Williams, cultural curator, and Camron-Stanford House, museum of Victorian era Oakland, are proud to announce their partnership in exhibiting the groundbreaking "Black Gold Storytellers” project. This exhibit will showcase the compelling narratives of African American Elders who undertook the momentous migration to Oakland including National Treasures: Joyce Gordon, Oscar Wright, and Ishmael Reed. Included is the musical video tribute to his ancestry by Oakland’s 3 time Grammy Winner, Fantastic Negrito. The BGS project was founded by the esteemed Dr. Adrienne D.
