Ancestor Portrait Workshop with JAMM the Artist

Join JAMM the Artist to honor, remember and celebrate family, friends and community heroes through the art of painting. Participants will create a monochromatic portrait of a historical figure or personal hero using pencil, ink and watercolor.

Workshop covers fundamental skills and techniques to create the portrait, all supplies are provided and is accessible to beginners of all ages. Children grades K-6 are most successful when accompanied by a supportive adult. When choosing a specific person to paint your portrait of, the photo reference must be submitted one week prior to the event. High resolution images are ideal.
